I have been teaching High School English and English Language Development for 11 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in English from University of California, Davis, and a Single Subject English Teaching Credential from University of California, Davis. I also have an Master of Arts degree (M.A.) in Educational Administration and Leadership from the University of the Pacific. I completed 25 units towards my Master of Arts degree (M.A.) in Teaching English to Students of Other Languages (TESOL) at California State University, Stanislaus. I tailor my lesson plans to my student's current level of proficiency and interests. I make sure my curriculum is engaging for my students. I love teaching English and believe that it should be a fun process where you learn what is relevant to what you need to know and what you're interested in. I have a 4 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. In my spare time, I love reading, watching movies, traveling, trying new restaurants, hiking, going to the beach, snow and water skiing.
